Cine Boat: A collaboration between The Sea Cafe staff and customers, Underground Pearl and Michael Tyburski, award winning director. In the spirit of Agitprop, blurring the lines between the studio, the gallery and the suburb, a two seater Orkney Spinner was temporarily converted into a mobile cinema. Angelfish is about a restless young man who moves to live aboard a sailboat on New York City's East River. It is an intimate tale about the lure of the sea and the rebellious, adveturous spirits that are drawn to it.
Michael Tyburski:

Greetings from DEAL: Super Shrimp Champion: An interactive sculpture event to awaken Deal's shrimping heritage along the seafront inviting the public to pose with Duke the Super-Shrimp.
Initiated by artist Colin Priest in September 2010, the Greetings from DEAL project started as a place of personal memory and artistic experimentation, making abstract narrative films, taking survey-like photographs and collecting artefacts of an area undergoing urban change, with creative people connected to Deal.

Colin Priest:

Cultural Laboratory is an ongoing interactive conceptual art installation researching a collective voice on the future of contemporary art in Deal. Research is carried out through the use of jars and a series of encounters. It is a laboratory for cultivating a social vaccine against lost histories and a dispensary for new possibilities.
